rockyPants4000 ::: Favorites Two greatly different aircraft, actually. The Lightning is made to carry a few missiles high into the stratosphere quickly. Not much range, not a lot of load carrying, just raw speed to quickly defend an island. The Phantom is a multi-mission fighter-bomber that can do interceptions (though not climbing as fast), ground and sea attack, and carries a lot more ordinance much farther to project power over long distances.
