audra mcodonald is a freaking national teasure. she's f-ing spectacular, to put it bluntly. she can sing as well as act, and she's incredibly down to earth. also, she is the only classically trained soprano who doesn't annoy the shit out of me. so, that makes her pretty much awesome in my book. I'm so glad she sang this song.
