Description: This was an assignment for English, where we were to redo Shakespeare's Macbeth if one of the vital points were changed. We set it in the modern day and made Macbeth an alcoholic. Enjoy. (Note: I realize this is difficult to follow, as we had limited time to get our point across. In this part, Mack (Macbeth) and Barry (Banquo) go to a Tarot Card reading in a drunken stupor, where they discover Mack is going to be president. Mack lets this detail slip to his power hungry, gold digging wife Martha (Lady Macbeth) and she convinces him to kill President Duncan. |
