Wow! Shocking! Thanks. THAT is indeed a very different course the U.S. veered off on!

Im talking about Woodrow Wilson selling out to the bankers, a time when the bankers took over US unconstitutionally i.e. the federal reserve act. A time when we ditched sound money for money created through debt, debt that the bankers prospered on, putting us literally on our knees. Time when our domestic and foreign policies were influenced heavily by these bankers and the corporate affiliates. A time when we started idealizing the spread of democracy (though the force of arms).

[2] It was just like the Gulf Of Tonkin incident that was the excuse to get the U.S. into Vietnam.

[1] Just before World War I? Why do you pick that year, SushiSyogun? What event are you referring to there in 1913? I wonder if we could say America began losing its "Good Guy" principles around the time of the Spanish American War (1898), "Remember The Maine" and all that, when this country went to war with a country after staging the attack on the ship the USS Maine as an excuse to go to war with Spain in Cuba, thus taking Cuba as a prize afterwards.

JixMa: I agree with you that Bush didn't take his oath of office seriously... or the Bible on which he swore that oath. The people I admire most are those who go about doing good without having to shout about their religion. (I do believe that the Bible says that we will know a true Christian by their DEEDS - not their words.) Conversely, the people I condemn are those who wear religion on their sleeve, while doing the most vile acts. Bush is in the latter category.

Wow! Excellent quotes from Thomas Jefferson and John Adams there, SushiSyogun! When exactly did America lose its identity, its principles, its very soul? I don't recognize this country as the America of Jefferson and the Founding Fathers anymore.

The fucker had his fingers crossed when he took that oath! Then again, the Antichrist doesn't give a fuck about oaths "so help me God", swearing on a Bible and all that.

it is appalling to see all these people believing/concluding the innocents of candidates through the masks of their rhetoric. For Christs sake follow the money, research their affiliates, research their voting record. It is not like the information is not there. Until these people start waking up we will never see the light of victory for we the people.
