Description:
going up the grade earlier this morning. northbound US95- about an hour and a half, depending on your speed- south of lewiston, idaho. my load weighed about 46,000lbs.

i must be crazy then, because two of my most favorite grades are in idaho, along us95, and white bird is one of them. the other is the one going into lewiston. the view from up top is fantastic.

I used to drive for Swift out of the Lathrop, California terminal. I am in Lewiston now. That grade is nasty!

this year i've been there a total of 10 times. it depends on if the load i'm on is going there, or is to be dropped at the swift terminal, and rebounded by a driver who goes into canada. i used to do canada and became tired of the hassle. it's more trouble than it's worth. arizona is okay.

heheh, thanks, i actually get that a lot from the lady folk. i somewhere in maricopa county, arizona. lewiston is nice, though, and i love going up and down white bird. i just don't enjoy it too much when there's ice on the road.
